As I've been sharing some amazing stories of women during my "March of Inspiring Mums" interview series, it's got me thinking a lot about why I set up Halia Rose. I've also been reflecting on my very own journey into motherhood and how I felt on the eve of becoming a mum for the first time...
Today's interview is with Sara Campin, a mum to 2 young children from South-West London.
After reaching burn out as a result of an all-consuming corporate job whilst juggling life with two young children, Sara shares how taking a break, spending time with a coach and learning self care helped her redefine her priorities, feel better within herself and ultimately feel better as a person and as a mum.
Our interview also coincides with the launch of Sara's Nourish App, with the aim of supporting, motivating and inspiring all mothers to thrive and making mental wellbeing accessible and relevant for all mothers so they can be their best selves...
Our latest interviewee is Rosanna Gilderthorp, mum to 2 small children from Plymouth.
After suffering anxiety and being "terrified" when she found out she was pregnant she decided to try hypnobirthing which she says transformed her experience and outlook. She also noticed that so many other new mums she met, hadn't had this experience and felt a sense of shame in their birth experiences...Rosanna decided to use her background as a Clinical Psychologist to help other mums overcome birth trauma and prepare for the positive second births that they deserve.
Today she shares some top tips and shares which colour makes her feel like a Cadbury's Twirl!
