The countdown to Christmas and the holiday period can often feel quite daunting or even overwhelming! Here are my Top Tips to help manage your stress so you can enjoy this festive time of year...and don't forget to download the Free Festive Planner to help you stay on top of things and enjoy the Christmas period.
1. Be Organised
If you're a planner then you'll probably have this part nailed but there is always something that crops up last minute! If you have a running list then it's so much easier to have it out of your head on paper or on your phone. Visualising your To Do List is generally easier for us to manage because it never looks as bad on paper than it does whizzing through your mind with everything else you're trying to think about.
I have created a FREE Festive Planner for you, which includes Your Christmas To Do List, Menu Planner and Bucket List. You can download the Festive Planner by clicking here
2. Stay Hydrated
Water is so important and dehydration is the number one cause of headaches so keep drinking! It will also help raise your energy levels and limit fatigue.
You may also be out partying a bit more at this time of year so water will help flush out any toxins plus with the constant move between the outside cold weather and inside central heating, our skin can take a battering...water will help your skin to glow!
I find it useful to fill a bottle and carry it with me everywhere - it really helps me remember to drink from it if I see it all the time! If you find plain water a little boring then get creative...add a slice of lemon, lime, cucumber or mint to add a little zest or zing to your water.
3. Enjoy it!
As an adult we can sometimes get lost in what "needs" to be done but remember to take some time out to enjoy it, especially if you have little ones - remember their memories will be created on the magic you create for them! I love this time of year but it's also super busy for me so I have to plan time out and schedule activities in with them (and for me!) so I make sure I switch off from the everyday and enjoy the moment.
